Dr. Yassamin Lenzi, DMD
Dr. Yassamin Lenzi has been practicing dentistry since 2012. She first learned how dentistry can improve lives at her mother’s knee. By witnesssing the impact her mother’s work as a dentist had on her patients’ lives, Dr. Lenzi was inspired to follow in her footsteps by helping improve lives through dentistry.
Dr. Lenzi’s patients appreciate her compassionate, non-judgmental approach. Dedicated to helping each patient have optimal oral health, Dr. Lenzi patiently explains each step of treatment to ensure that her patients are comfortable with the work being done. She is especially effective with anxious patients and patients who are returning to the dentist after a long lapse. Understanding that each person has their own unique needs and budget, Dr. Lenzi works with her patients to help them have the smile they want.
Dr. Lenzi graduated from Universidade Federal de Pelotas in 2012 and worked as a general dentist at Rastegary Oral Rehabilitation Center until moving to Chicago in 2015. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Advanced Standing Program at University of Illinois at Chicago in 2017. She practiced at Lee Dental Care in Fort Myers prior to founding Sunset Harbor Dental.
Passionate about offering her patients the latest techniques and technology available, Dr. Lenzi completes continuing education each year. In addition to expanding her knowledge of dentistry, she has also undergone advanced training in facial aesthetics. She is certified to administer BOTOX®.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She is an avid foodie who enjoys sampling cuisines from different cultures. She gives back to the community by volunteering at free dentistry events. Dr. Lenzi is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Farsi.

Dr. Yassamin Lenzi was born and raised in Brazil. She fell in love with dentistry at a young age, watching her mother practice dentistry and spending a lot of time in her dental office.
Dr. Lenzi graduated from Universidade Federal de Pelotas in 2012 and worked as a general dentist at Rastegary Oral Rehabilitation Center until moving to Chicago in 2015. Most recently, she added to the services she can offer her patients by undergoing advanced training in facial aesthetics. She is certified to administer BOTOX®

She enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and keeping a healthy lifestyle. She is also an avid foodie who enjoys sampling cuisines from different cultures. She volunteers her time to Dentistry from the Heart, a yearly day of free dentistry for those with no access to dental care.

Dr. Elizabeth Chavez, DDS
Dr. Elizabeth Chavez had been in dentistry for several years, seeing patients in several private offices in the area. Dr. Chavez graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic with her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She continued her studies at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, completing a two-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Dr. Chavez approaches her patients with empathy and compassion, setting them at ease with kindness and humor. Skilled at patient communication, she enjoys connecting with her patients, guiding them through the treatment process, and watching their self-confidence improve along with their smiles. Her goal is to build relationships with her patients by demonstrating that they can trust her to put their best interests, and budgets, first when making treatment recommendations.
Dr. Chavez was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Cape Coral, FL. She has lived in Santo Domingo, Sarasota and New York City. In her free time, she stays active by taking walks and jogging. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is community-oriented and participates in multiple free dentistry events.
